Download Facebook Videos on Android
TapKlip lets you save public Facebook videos and Reels on Android, directly in your browser. You can also use the Android Share menu with the app installed. Saved videos usually go to your phone's Download folder.
Download Facebook videos on Android: what you need
Save public Facebook videos and Reels with TapKlip: free, no sign-up, no pop-ups. Use it in your Android browser, or install the app for quick access from Facebook's Share menu.
- An Android phone with a browser such as Chrome.
- A link to a public Facebook video or Reel. Private, deleted, friends-only, or login-required content cannot be downloaded.
- Optional: install TapKlip on Android to open it directly from the Share menu.
How to save a Facebook video or Reel
- Copy the Facebook link. Open the public video or Reel in Facebook. Tap Share, then Copy link.
- Open TapKlip. Go to the Facebook video downloader in your browser. For Reels, you can also use the Facebook Reels downloader.
- Paste the link. Press and hold the link box, then choose Paste. TapKlip automatically recognises the platform.
- Choose your download. Tap Download, then select an available file to save.
- Find the saved video. Check your browser's downloads list. On Android, saved files usually go to the Download folder in your phone's file manager.
Files come directly from the original platform. TapKlip does not store downloaded files.
Can't find the video on your phone?
Start with your file manager rather than your gallery. Downloaded videos do not always appear in the gallery straight away, so check that the file has finished saving first.
- Open your file manager, such as Files by Google or My Files, and check the Download folder. The location depends on your browser settings.
- In Chrome, open the three-dot menu and choose Downloads to check whether the download finished.
- In your gallery app, look for an album named Download or Downloads.
- If the video plays instead of downloading, follow the video opens in a new tab guide.
- If TapKlip cannot read the link, get a fresh link from Facebook's Share menu. See invalid link help for more guidance.
Use TapKlip from the Android Share menu
Prefer to send a video straight from Facebook? Install TapKlip to access it through the Android Share menu. Installation is optional; the browser version works without it.
- Open TapKlip in Chrome, then use the browser menu to install the app.
- In Facebook, open a public video or Reel and tap Share.
- Choose TapKlip from the apps list. If it is not visible, tap More to see the full list.
- Continue in TapKlip and choose an available file to download.
Your next video is just a link away. Open the TapKlip Facebook downloader to get started.
