Copied the whole share message? Paste it here. TapKlip finds the link.

Download Instagram Videos in Three Steps

TapKlip gives you one box for four platforms, including Instagram. Use the box above to save a favourite Reel, a video post, or photos you want to keep.

1. Open the Instagram post or Reel you want to save. Open its sharing options and select Copy link.
  2. Paste the link into TapKlip. The box recognises Instagram links automatically.
  3. Select Download, then choose the video or photo you want to save.

TapKlip works on phones and computers, so you can save a post on the device where you want to keep it. The device guides below explain where to find your downloaded files.

On a computer, use the address of the individual post from your browser’s address bar, not the account’s profile address. For help specifically with Reels, visit the Instagram Reels downloader.

Your Files, Straight from Instagram

TapKlip downloads the video and image files available from Instagram. Their format and quality depend on what Instagram provides, rather than the original file before it was uploaded.

Photos and videos in one carousel

A carousel can contain both photos and videos. You can choose individual items, so there’s no need to save the whole post when you only want one photo or a particular video.

A straightforward download experience

TapKlip is free, with no sign-up, no pop-ups, and no redirect ads. The page keeps the focus on the files you want to save. Downloads come straight from Instagram, and TapKlip does not store your downloaded files.

Need Help with an Instagram Link?

  • Incomplete or unrecognised link: open the post in Instagram and copy its link again. Check that you have the full address. See help with invalid links.
  • Private or deleted post: TapKlip cannot open private content or recover a post that has been removed. Read about private or deleted content.
  • Login required: if Instagram requires a login to view the content, TapKlip cannot download it. Learn more about login-required content.

If a video plays in a browser tab instead of saving, follow the steps for videos that open in a new tab. For help with other download problems, visit download help.

Download on Android or iPhone

Android: downloads usually go to the Download folder. You can also install TapKlip to open it from Instagram’s Share menu. Follow the Instagram download guide for Android for step-by-step help.

iPhone: downloads usually go to the Downloads folder in the Files app. The location depends on your browser settings, so check your browser’s download list if the file is not in that folder.
